Nelson Ferreira
CEO
Our CEO, Nelson Ferreira, is an exceptional visionary. Ferreira Construction, which has grown to be a premier contractor in New Jersey, New York, Florida and California, developed as a direct result of his first business endeavor over 30 years ago. With a vision for diversity and growth, Nelson has added to the Ferreira Family of Companies over the years. These additions include Vanguard Energy Partners, American Pile and Foundation, Valiant Energy Service and recently Ferreira Power Group. Nelson is at the core of FPG. He is responsible for the day to day operations, business development, market strategy, and growth of the company. Nelson continues to lend his valuable insight and unparalleled leadership in the development of all five companies.
Kevin Kruse
PRESIDENT
As president of Ferreira Power Group, Kevin works closely with Nelson Ferreira to leverage his industry knowledge and experience. Kevin brings over 34 years of experience in operations, construction, and engineering with large specialty in utility construction. After over 30 years in Power Generation, he took on the Director of Transmission & Distribution supporting one of the nation's largest utility companies. His team building, leadership skills, budget analysis, estimating cost, planning, scheduling, and quality control are unparalleled. Kevin's knowledge of engineering principles and practices and experience supervising plant personnel, craft labor workforce and/or project teams plays a key role in the Company's success.
Charles Tilburg
SENIOR DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
As Sr. Director of Operations and Business Development Charles "Chuck" Tilburg is responsible for the daily operation of all projects under contract with the Ferreira Power Group. He is a leader who is passionate about providing the best qualified personnel to our clients. After graduating from high school, Chuck joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country for 6 years. After Leaving the Air Force, Chuck was hired by the Fortune 500 Utility Company working in the Security/Fire Department at a Nuclear Power Plant. Several years later Chuck was given the opportunity to go to Lineman's school and start his apprenticeship and after 4 years received his Journeyman Lineman title. Chuck has remained in the Transmission and Distribution industry for 35 years and has held many different positions including Journeyman Lineman, Supervisor Regional Operations, Manager Regional Operations, Project Manager and Sr. Project Manager and Superintendent/Subject Matter Expert.
